Freizeit is a well-known Austrian leisure magazine published weekly as part of the Kurier newspaper. Initially, its online content was hosted on kurier.at.

The project’s goal was to create a unique online identity for freizeit.at, which involved the creation of a brand-new website and the creation of a distinctive online brand identity.

The Freizeit.at project began with valuable insights gathered from interviews conducted by the Freizeit team, providing a deep understanding of user preferences and expectations. Building upon this foundation, I conducted a competitive analysis to gain insights into the competitive landscape.

The project unfolded two key phases. Initially, I dedicated my efforts to designing the brand identity. Following its approval by the Freizeit team, I seamlessly transitioned into the website design phase, where I established a distinct online identity.

Throughout the project, the design choices were guided by the insights gleaned from user interviews and competitive analysis. This approach ensured that the final product not only met user expectations and stakeholder requirements but also stood out in the competitive digital landscape

Additionally, the colors on the entire page change every half a year to complement the images in the articles, reflecting the shifting seasons.
